Member Profile:Jo Ann Hansen Rasch, a NZ born writer now living in Switzerland, has published in the USA (University of Iowa Press, The Crossing Press,INC etc), in Switzerland, Germany (several international literary journals: Ex Tempore, Offshoots, Lakelines and with Bergli Books, C.H.Beck publishers). In NZ she has published with Southern Ocean Review. In 2008, Jo Ann Hansen Rasch published Blowing Feathers, a memoir of her mother inspired by a thousand bits of paper found after her mother's death. In 2009, she was the guest editor for the tenth edition of Offshoots, which is the only English -language literary anthology in Switzerland. Offshoots is celebrating its twentieth year.The photo shows her at the anthology's launch at the Geneva Press Club. Jo Ann is a member of the NZ Society of Authors, the Geneva Writers Group and PEN Suisse Romande. She lives in Lutry, by Lake Geneva, and she and her husband Marc have two children and four grandchildren.
